Editorial Policy

This page explains how the articles in our blog are written, what they are based on, and what they are not. It applies to every article published on this site.

Who writes our articles

Every article carries a byline. Articles are written either by a named author or by our editorial team, and each byline links to a profile page that shows the author's background, their role, and every article they have published with us. Where an author has a professional or public presence elsewhere, the profile links to it so you can verify who they are.

We do not publish anonymous health content. If an article has no author you can identify, it is not one of ours.

How we choose sources

Our articles on substances, compounds and health topics are built from a fixed list of sources selected before the article is written, not found afterwards to support a point. We draw on:

  • peer-reviewed research indexed on PubMed;
  • official prescribing information and drug labels published through DailyMed and the FDA;
  • guidance from regulators and recognised medical bodies.

We do not use forum posts, social media, anecdotal reports or other retailers as sources. Where the sources disagree, the article says so rather than choosing a side. The documents each article draws on are listed under it in the Sources section, with a direct link, so every claim can be checked against the document behind it.

Review and updates

Every article is read and approved by a person before it is published. Articles are reviewed again when a cited source is updated or withdrawn, when a reader reports an error, and at least [once a year] as part of a scheduled review. The publication date shown on each article is the date it went live; when an article is materially changed, its modified date is updated as well.

If you believe something we have published is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us. We correct errors rather than quietly remove them.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to help prepare first drafts of some articles. When we do, the tool is given only the sources listed under the article and is not permitted to cite anything else. The draft is then checked by a person, who verifies every claim against the sources, edits the text, and decides whether it is published. No article goes live without that review, and the responsibility for its accuracy is ours, not the tool's.

Medical disclaimer

The information published on this site, including every blog article, is for educational purposes only. It describes what published sources document; it is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a recommendation to use any substance, medication or supplement.

Nothing here replaces a consultation with a qualified healthcare professional who knows your medical history. Always talk to a licensed physician before starting, stopping or changing any medication, supplement or compound, especially if you have an existing health condition, take other medication, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

Steroidforce is a retailer, not a healthcare provider. The presence of a product in our catalogue is not a statement that it is appropriate for you.
